MEET
Sophie

As the daughter of Carlo Sidoli – founder and Chairman of Sidoli Desserts – Sophie has been enamoured with baking her entire life. With her own unique set of credentials and a family background of over 150 years in the bakery industry, Sophie leads the creative side of the business and is Head of Sales & Innovation. Wanting to explore a new avenue, Sophie injected her experience and love for all things scrumptious into a new business venture, dedicated to initially producing a selection of brownies and blondies made using only indulgent, high quality ingredients.

Sophie’s passion and creativity for sweet treats has been lovingly baked into each of our yummy recipes and we are delighted to bring you the most decadent cakes around – a taste of pure indulgence.

“I have and continue to learn so much about this industry from my father, and together with my appetite for anything arty I have tried to pour all of that knowledge and heritage into delicious products that are available to everyone. I am passionate about using only the best quality ingredients that can be traced back to the farms from which they were produced, as well as working with other businesses large and small that echo our ethos. As an example we are tremendously excited to now be working with “Matthews Cotswold Flour” who conduct these exact standards and family business values.

I am big on taste; only British butter, Free Range Eggs and Belgian white chocolate are used to make my blondies, and my brownies are packed with five different varieties of luscious chocolate for the perfect balance. Of course as it is my favourite tipple we had to get some fabulous gin from our friends at the “English Drinks Company” into one of the blondies too!

Delivered straight to your door, my artisan bakery goodies aren’t just a treat; they are an experience. Whatever you’re celebrating, let me bring the cake to your party.”
